CABBAGE SANNA KHOTTO

(cabbage Idli) cabbagesannakhotto

Ingredients

Rice – 150grms (1/2pav)
Grated coconut – 6tbsp
Fried red chilies – 8
Asafetida – a pinch
Cabbage – 1/4 kg
Tamarind – marble sized

Soak rice for about half an hour. Grind coconut, red chillies, tamarind, asafoetida and salt coarsely. To this, add soaked rice and grind coarsely. Pour the batter into a vessel and add finely chopped cabbage pieces. Mix well. Pour the batter in idli containers and steam cook for 25-30 mins.
* Instead of rice, equal quantity of rice rawa may be added.
