CABBAGE RICE MANCHURIAN

Ingredients

Cooked rice – 1 glass
Cabbage a small piece
Refined flour – 4tbsp
Chilly powder – 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Onion – 3-4
Capsicum 3-4
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Garlic – 8-10 flakes
Soya sauce – 2tbsp
Tomato sauce – 4 tbsp
Ajinamoto – a pinch
Oil for frying

Chop cabbage finely. Add one glass of mashed rice, refined flour, chilli powder and salt mix well. Make a thick batter without adding water. Roll into small balls and deep fry in oil till golden brown.

Fry onion pieces in a Kadai, till golden brown in oil. To this add finely chopped capsicum, ginger and garlic salt and red chilli powder, soya sauce, tomato sauce and a pinch of Ajinamoto. Fry for a little while stirring continuously. The deep fried cabbage balls are added to this and fried in the pan for a little while.
