Udupi has witnessed a lot of people who by their noble deeds have touched the lives of the unprivileged and served for the betterment of the society. It takes a lot of commitment, understanding and moreover a compassionate heart to do such service the rest of the needs can be made possible with the former values. 

Many social service organizations in and around Udupi have truly dedicated themselves to uplift the needy. This section gives you a glimpse of the various activities of the institutions.

The various categories of the service include- Mentally retarded/ mentally challenged, old aged, Orphans, Gurukuls, Blood donation camps, Eye donation, domestic servants etc.

. ‘Social service’ is a noble job, which is the need of the society today. There are several people in our midst, who are in distress and pain, and who need some kind of moral and emotional support.
