Alasande Gashi

Ingredients:

Alasande - 1 bunch
Grated Coconut 1 cup
Fried Red Chillies 8 10
Tamarind - marble sized
Fried Urad dhal 1 tbsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Mustard seed - 1 tbsp
Curry leaves a few
Salt - According to Taste


Wash Alasande, chop into 1 pieces, cook and keep aside. Prepare a finely ground masala using grated coconut, red chilies, tamarind and fried urad dhal. Add it to the cooked alasande. Add sufficient water. Add salt and let it boil for some times. For seasoning, heat oil, add mustard seeds and when it splutters add curry leaves. Let it fry for some time add then add it to the curry.


Serves : 6 - 7 person.
